TRINA GULLIVER MBE

#IWD2021

The 10-time Women's World Champion dominated the women's darts scene from the late 1990's through to the early 2010's, there is very little she hasn't won throughout her illustrious career.

Gulliver won the inaugural World Championship's in 2001 and so began her era of dominance, as she claimed her next six World Championship titles in consecutive years and still holds the top three averages ever thrown at the event.

England's most capped player, many as the Women's captain, she carries an impressive tally of 61 wins from 71 appearances.

A strong advocate for advancing the opportunities for women in darts, speaking out about the disparity between men's and women's format, TV coverage and prize monies.

The aptly named 'Golden Girl' has inspired a generation, and her successes on and off the oche, including her substantial charity work, saw her rewarded with an MBE in 2013.
