STACY BROMBERG

#IWD2021

Stacy Bromberg dominated the American darts scene. Domestically, she topped the ADO National Rankings 16 times in 18 years, winning six consecutive North American Open titles, three National Cricket Championships and 13 National 501 titles.

Internationally, Bromberg was the only American to win the Women's Desert Classic in 2003 and notably became the first and only PDC Women's World Champion in 2010, beating Tricia Wright in the final. This saw Bromberg go on to feature on the PDC tour and the 2010 PDC Grand Slam of Darts.

Winner of the WDF World Cup singles in 2009, Bromberg made her international's debut in 1991.

An ambassador for the sport, Bromberg actively promoted women's darts. Dubbed, 'The Wish Granter' due to her extensive charity work, raising countless thousands for the Make-a-Wish foundation, Bromberg used her platform to help and encourage others.

Sadly, Stacy passed away in 2017 following a long-term battle with cancer.
